Jack Jones

Two times Platinum, 8 times Gold and APRA award winning, Jack Jones singer and songwriter (guitarist) with 90s rock giants Southern Songs has entertained audiences across Australia and the globe.

Born – Irwin Thomas – in New York City, Jack arrived in Australia as a ten years old.  Even as a youngster, he began showing an incredible talent with his guitar playing. At fourteen, Jack was already playing professionally in both cover and original bands. At the same time, he was earning a reputation as a very accomplished and well respected studio musician.

After heading back to the United States for several years to further study his craft, Jack eventually returned to Australia and joined the successful 90s band Southern Sons as lead singer/guitarist.

As both a vocalist and guitarist he is respected as one of Australia’s iconic musicians.

Joseph Calderazzo

Born and bred in Geelong Victoria, Joseph moved to Sydney during to 1990s to work as a professional musician and has collaborated with many notable artists including Matt FinishJeff Duff and ARIA award-winning singer and songwriter Jenny Morris, with whom he spent eight years as her regular guitar player.

He was also a partner in establishing CCEntertainment in 2003, with the aim of producing concerts of the highest quality that celebrate and re-interpret the words and music of iconic bands and recording artists from the 1960s and 1970s. Thus, his passion for the classic rock genre.

In 2019 Joseph formed The Bloomvilles with writing partner Melinda Jackson. With five singles receiving regular air play on many stations around Australia, including high rotation on ABC Country (Real This Time f/ Jack Jones), three top five hits on 2TM (Crosslands, Words You Say & Real This Time), two top ten singles on Australian Country Radio (Rain and the River & Sun Goes Down), The Bloomvilles released their self-titled debut album in September 2021 to an enthusiastic response reaching #8 on the AIR charts, #13 on the ARIA country charts and #4 on the iTunes country charts.

Natalie Ermer

Vocals

Natalie has been performing and recording music since 11 years of age where she appeared regularly on primetime kids tv. Natalie’s roots are in Ukrainian folk where she has performed at festivals including Womad. Natalie is renowned for her work with pop, rock, lounge and jazz bands having travelled to Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Osaka, and Busan South Korea. Having returned from the US, Natalie is undertaking large scale performances, and is putting her love of Pink Floyd to good use!!

Cam Blokland

Guitars, Vocals

Cam is an amazing versatile guitarist with an eclectic background which includes jazz, classical music, hard-rock and heavy metal. Following his honours degree in jazz performance he has embarked on a performance career that has quickly seen him become one of the most sought-after guitarists in the country. From the Adelaide Guitar Festival, travelling to Europe and the UK with the prog outfit “Southern Empire” he primarily performs instrumental music under his own name. Cam’s style and approach on acoustic and electric guitars, does incredible justice to David Gilmour’s style and tone. Cam will be playing many guitars and will undertake vocal duties for some Pink Floyd classics throughout the show.

Emily Kelly

Vocals

Emily has sung in orchestral presentations of Pink Floyd and Queen for over 15 years with orchestras including the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, Queensland Symphony Orchestra, Darwin Symphony and Auckland Philharmonia. Emily has also sung with legendary Australian artists including Glen Shorrok and Russell Morris and celebrated singer/pianist Stewart D’Arietta. Emily is the South Australian Manager of national chamber music company, Musica Viva Australia, making her the perfect addition to this orchestral presentation of the music of Pink Floyd.

DIANE PANOPOULOS

Vocals

Diane has been a professional singer for many years under the name of ‘Diane Dixon’. From her years performing across Australia in her own bands, Diane has toured and performed with Suzi Quatro, Orianthi, Vanessa Amorosi, Rose Tattoo, Motorhead, Divinyls, Ross Wilson and performed all over the world as a soloist and as a member of The Fabulous Singlettes. From rock, pop to opera, Diane’s versatility and exceptional range is what has kept her on top of her game. In Eclipse Pink Floyd Orchestrated she soars to incredible heights in the classic Great Gig in The Sky.

Warwick Cheatle

Bass, Co-Producer and Director of the Southern Cross Symphony

Wawick has played bass with everyone from Graham Bonnet, Jon Lord, Ross Wilson, to Glen Sharrock, Shirley Strachan, and many other Australian music legends. Warwick has specialised in crossover performances with Orchestra as the musical director presenting the music of Led Zeppelin, Queen, Bowie, and Deep Purple, in Perth, Adelaide, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Auckland, UK and Europe. Warwick as co-producer is very proud of this show, which takes the synthesised wind, horn, and string sounds produced by Pink Floyd keyboard player Rick Wright, and has them arranged and performed by a killer rock band and live orchestra – creating the most beautifully layered and authentic Pink Floyd sound.  

ADAM PAGE

MULTI INSTRUMENTALIST

Adam Page is a multi instrumentalist based in Adelaide, South Australia. He has written major works for the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra, the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra Wellington, Zephyr Quartet and co-composed on numerous occasions with celebrated Kiwi composer John Psatha and The Grigoryan Brothers.

Page’s other musical collaborations include The Australian String Quartet, Tim Finn, Slava Grigoryan, Noel Gallagher, and Katie Noonan.

Festival performances include Glastonbury (UK), WOMADelaide, WOMAD NZ, Big Day Out, Edinburgh Fringe, Sydney International Arts Festival, The Blue Mountains Music Festival, The Port Fairy Folk Festival.

Adam grew up listening to Pink Floyd’s Richard Parry’s sax on “Money”, “Us and Them”, “Shine On You Crazy Diamond” and has mastered these iconic solos lifting Eclipse Pink Floyd Orchestrated to an amazing level of authenticity. 

Paul White

Hammond, Moog, Soundscapes

With a career of over 30 years Paul White has established himself as one of the leading keyboard players in the country. Known for his work on the Hammond Organ his versatile keyboard playing style has seen him tour nationally and internationally with bands and theatre shows. His talents also include being a renowned mix engineer and electronic music producer. Watch out for On The Run and Any Colour You Like where Paul displays all of his technical skills and takes the reproduction of Pink Floyd to a new level!!

Karen De Nardi

Music Arranger and Viola

With a vibrant live and recorded freelance performance career, Karen’s roots are in classical music with a wealth of experience in bands and contemporary settings.

As a freelance composer and arranger, Karen’s passion has led her to write for string quartets, orchestras, folk groups, and pop and rock acts. She is regularly commissioned to arrange and has numerous original works performed at the Brisbane Festival, ABODA Festival, Mt Isa Festival, Adelaide Fringe and on radio ABC Classic FM. The Adelaide Symphony Orchestra have included her compositions in their 2019, 2021 and 2022 seasons.

Writing orchestral arrangements for Pink Floyd was a real highlight. “There is so much scope for orchestral interpretation in their original recordings. It’s a great fit.”

Dave Polain

Conductor

With a Master of Music – Performance (Conducting), David joined the Band of the South Australia Police in 1995 on Tuba, doubling on Trombone and Bass trombone. He has since arranged over 200 pieces for the band, orchestra and ensembles.

His interest in conducting saw him undertake conducting tuition in the Symphony Australia Conductor Development Program and was engaged by the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra to record a music program which was also presented in concert format.

Conducting for Eclipse Pink Floyd Orchestrated is a joy for David who is able to apply his skills and background in band and classical performance to unite rock and orchestral idioms into one dynamic performance with over 40 musicians.

ROB WOOLF

Piano, keyboards, Vocals

Rob Woolf has sung and played keyboards with a who’s who of Australian talent from Diesel to Karise Eden, from hip hop artist Phrase to Luke Steele, Silverchair and Ruby Boots, Guy Sebastian, The Dynamic Hepnotics, The Mighty Reapers, Tim Finn and more. He has backed the Jamaican Rocksteady founder Stranger Cole, and dancehall originator Johnny Osbourne, the US blues legend, Eugene Bridges, written and performed with Nikka Costa, and not to forget the recent White Album shows at the Sydney Opera House with Tim Rogers, Josh Pyke, Phil Jamison and Chris Cheney.

Youth Choir

CHOIR

The 23 children who originally sang ‘We Don’t Need No Education’ on Another Brick in the Wall were from the local Primary School next to the studio where Pink Floyd recorded their classic single.

A Youth Choir will be live on stage for Eclipse Pink Floyd Orchestrated, where they will emulate the iconic ‘Another Brick in the Wall’.
